HEAVY TRACTOR UNIT
URAL 63704 6×6 TRACTOR
The URAL-63704 is a three-axle all-wheel-drive head tractor designed to tow semi-trailers on every type of road and across rough terrain. A 303 kW (412 hp) YaMZ-652 engine, 16-speed synchronized gearbox, two-speed transfer case with lockable centre differential and HanDe axles with cross-axle locks deliver traction where conventional road tractors stop. Centrally inflated 16.00R20 tyres, 436 mm ground clearance and 1.2 m fording depth complete the off-road package, while a sleeper cab and ABS-equipped dual-circuit air brakes support long-distance operation.

MODEL REFERENCE & PROCUREMENT GUIDE
Planning the URAL 63704 6×6 TRACTOR.
The URAL 63704 6×6 TRACTOR is presented as a 6×6 heavy tractor unit platform for heavy semi-trailer haulage, oil, gas and mining logistics, machinery and equipment transport, remote infrastructure supply. The final truck, body and support package are confirmed against payload, terrain, climate, destination regulations and maintenance access.
Drivetrain and duty cycle
The 6×6 architecture is reviewed against route surface, gradients, turning space, expected utilization and trailer requirements. Tires, gearing and auxiliary systems are selected for the actual operating profile.
